Makati, Philippines October 1, 2025 — 101 Health Research® is proud to announce that its Founder and Managing Director, Dr. Venus Oliva Cloma-Rosales, MD, MPH, ME, has been selected as a 2025 Eisenhower Fellow under the prestigious Southeast Asia Regional Program of Eisenhower Fellowships (EF), a global network committed to fostering transformative leadership through cross-cultural exchange.
Dr. Cloma-Rosales joins a distinguished cohort of changemakers from across Southeast Asia. She is one of the few Filipino health professionals honored with this lifetime fellowship, which supports innovative leaders working to build more peaceful, prosperous, and just societies.
A Visionary in Health Data Science and Research Innovation
Dr. Cloma-Rosales is widely recognized for her pioneering work in health data science, biostatistics, and policy-driven research. Through more than a decade of leadership at 101 Health Research, she has built a portfolio encompassing national health policy evaluations and the analysis of over 77 million patient claims. Under her stewardship, the organization launched its first AI-driven health research intelligent library, making significant strides in democratizing access to research evidence and improving public health outcomes.
As an Eisenhower Fellow, Dr. Cloma-Rosales aims to scale the reach and impact of this platform, advancing evidence-based innovation and equity in health research across the country. Her fellowship project will explore global best practices in health data access, translation, and patient-centered analytics to strengthen national and regional health systems.
An Esteemed Academic and Sector Advocate
Dr. Cloma-Rosales earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Santo Tomas, her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UP Diliman, and her Master in Public Health from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. In 2024, she graduated as Class Valedictorian and Class President of the Master in Entrepreneurship program at the Asian Institute of Management.
She completed her Pediatrics residency at Makati Medical Center and remains a strong advocate for professional medical writing and research mentorship. She is a founding member of the Philippine Society of Public Health Physicians (PSPHP) and is among its inaugural PSPHP Fellows. She is also a writeshop mentor for the Philippine Association of Medical Journal Editors (PAMJE), and the Chairperson of the NUS Alumni Network Manila (2025–2026).
